“Glass Shields” Art Print

The idea for this painting is based on a feeling I’ve held for a while, that I’m travelling through life inside a glass shield of my own making – invisible, and easily broken. It’s the illusion of protection that allows me to keep others at a distance while showing a fine face.

When I relate to everyone around me as having their own versions of a glass shield, I find it easier to remember to be gentle.
